Field / Scheduling Notes:
1. Popes Park is located on State Fair Blvd. North of the fairgrounds and across from the Best Western Hotel.
2. Solvay H.S. field is located behind the High School at the end of Gertrude Ave. Parking is available in front of the High School. Players & Parents can walk around to the back of the High School to get to the field.
3. Nets are installed at Popes Park and must remainin place. Install corner flags only.
4. The 1st game teams that are highlighted & italicized (5) are responsible for picking up and setting up nets or corner flags. Net bags may be picked up at the Shove Park fieldhouse Friday evening before closing, or Saturday morning at 8:00 am.
5. The last game teams that are highlighted & italicized (6) are responsible for taking down and returning nets or corner flags.
Net bags must be returned to the Shove Park fieldhouse by Tuesday following your games.
The team that is not responsible for taking down nets, IS responsible for picking up and disposing of any trash on the field or sideline areas.
6. NO person is allowed to talk to, harass or question calls by the referees.
7. Games are to be played in inclement weather, unless directed by a WOYSA official.
8. Conditions that are unsafe for players, or destructive to the playing field, should warrant the cancellation of a game.
9. Any cancellations shall be made by both coaches and the game referees at the field of play, at the scheduled time of the game in accordance with WOYSA Policy.
