CREW PROGRAM DETAILS! WOYSA CREW is a program designed for players and families that want to play and train at a more competitive level, while still having fun. This is a community based player development program. While there are no tryouts or selections, it is understood that players entering this program are committed to the game of soccer and to becoming a better player. This program is only successful if players put the time and energy into their training and games. Success in our club is based on the continuous improvement of the individual player and their team, and not on game results. CREW teams are formed based on age/grade and skill level. We try to have kids play as age appropriate as possible, and put them in situations where they will be competitive and challenged. Each CREW team will be assigned licensed and paid coaches. We have a great coaching staff that understands and promotes our club philosophy of continuous player development. Many of our coaches have gone through the WOYSA\CREW program or similar programs. We also have a Director of Coaching that works with our coaching staff to ensure that players are being trained and managed in an appropriate manner. In addition to league play, CREW teams may also have the opportunity to compete in various indoor or outdoor tournaments, with approval from the Director of Coaching. Tournament play will be determined on a team by team basis and is typically based on scheduling and player availability. There will be an additional cost to participate in tournaments in addition to the standard registration fees.
